1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or playing The Ultimate Grid, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not create an account or use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and The Ultimate Grid.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use The Ultimate Grid. If you are under 16 (or the age of majority in your region), you should have the consent of a parent or guardian to use this service.

3. Your Account

• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials (email and password) secure. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not impersonate any other person or entity.
• You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of other people.
• Gamertags must not be offensive, obscene, or impersonate real individuals or organisations. We reserve the right to change or remove gamertags that violate this policy.

4. Acceptable Use — Fair Play Rules

The Ultimate Grid is built for genuine sports fans. You agree NOT to:

• Use bots, scripts, browser extensions, or any automated tools to play the game, submit answers, or gain an advantage in Race Mode, Tic-Tac-Toe Mode, or Daily Leaderboards.
• Exploit bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities to gain an unfair advantage. Please report any bugs to admin@theultimategrid.com.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players through the inbox or friend system.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our infrastructure.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the game's source code or databases for commercial purposes.
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.

5. User-Generated Content (DIY Grids)

When you create a DIY Grid and share it with other players via the grid code or in-game inbox, you grant The Ultimate Grid a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to distribute that content within the game. You are responsible for ensuring the grid categories you choose do not infringe on any third party's rights. You may not use the DIY Creator to share offensive or inappropriate content.

6. Intellectual Property

The Ultimate Grid, including its design, branding, logo, game mechanics, code, and databases, is the intellectual property of its creators. Footballer names, Formula 1 driver names, team and club names, and competition names are used for informational and educational purposes in accordance with the principle of nominative fair use. The Ultimate Grid is not affiliated with or endorsed by any football club, Formula 1 team, or governing body.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Ultimate Grid is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted, error-free, or secure service at all times.
• That the sports statistics, player data, or team information within the game is 100% accurate, complete, or current.
• That all game features (including multiplayer) will be available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Ultimate Grid and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of game data, account suspension, or service interruption.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, at our sole discretion. In serious cases (e.g. confirmed use of bots, harassment, or security attacks) we may act without prior notice. You may close your own account at any time by contacting admin@theultimategrid.com.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
